Insanity Workout Review | Month 1

When I began the workout I was extremely unfit. I have a desk job and just sit all day long. On top of that, I hadn’t worked out in over a year. The first week was a struggle. I was literally sweating like a whore in church :) haha. But, I pulled through. I just did as much as I could. I’m so glad I did because because it didnt exactly get any easier.But, the reward is that the results come that much faster. After the first week I already noticed my face and neck were noticeably thinner. I also got stronger, so I could do more and push harder. OR, as Shaun T says… DIG DEEPER!

Now, I’m 20 lbs less. 20 lbs because I did gain some muscle. I totally re compositioned my body. Just as importantly I have a lot more energy. I have the confidence I lacked when I weighed my highest, and I get a new lease on life. Im so glad I bought insanity. It was the best money I ever spent.

Month 1 of my Insanity Workout was hard. I mean, I did what I could,but it took a solid week to get into the swing of things and start pushing myself. In the second week I could see the fat melting off my stomach and arms were leaning out. I almost threw up a few times. but what I didnt know was that it was basically the calm before the storm. I had gotten used to the workouts, and even though they were hard, I was still coping. The routines were an achievable and only 40 minutes long, ( actually without the warm up you are really only really working out for around 20 minutes). Sticking to the diet plan really helped to give me the necessary fuel. But I honestly ate poorly on a few days but the extra calorie burn made those bad days really forgiving.

# My Top Tip: you may need to take a longer rest period between exercises than the 30 secs they suggest, I took a minute sometimes or 2 minutes. The people in the DVD are like machines! It is very important that you recover before you start back up again so that you can go 100% and get your heart rate back up. Remember form over speed every time.

Insanity Workout Review | Month 2

I’m not going to lie to you; month 2 was the hardest I have ever worked out in my life! However, even though it felt like torture at times, Month 1 had prepared me well and I was not about to give up. You will feel sore, and may have to rest for a couple of days, but the hard work definitely pays off!

# My Top tip: Make sure you have a water handy or some natural minerals/electrolytes like coconut water, so that you can properly hydrate your body. This makes a real difference. Most of the exercises now last 45-50 mins so be ready to sweat for longer. nothing zaps your energy like dehydration.

Insanity Workout Review | The Diet

The insanity workout DVDs come with a booklet which includes highly nutritious recipes. They are specially designed to give you they energy you need to get through your workout as well as a busy day.

    You just push yourself every minute of the work out, take rest when you need to, and actually drink water during the water break and you’re good to go. Just 45 minutes tops Monday through Saturday and thats it.

    I been using insanity for 30 days and it works I’m really impress with this product that only thing that I complain was in my order I supposed to receive the insanity program in Spanish but it wasn’t ): but I’m really happy with the results that I have

    My husband and I are doing INSANITY together. I had our second baby over 4 months ago and I’m about 25 lbs overweight. I am a former college athlete who really wanted to lose the weight and get back into shape. We just finished Week 3 and I’m loving it! I lost 6 lbs and over 8 inches. I feel great.     My wife and I took the Insanity challenge about a month ago. Thus far, our bodies have already begun to change noticeably. That’s just on the surface.

    We are able to perform the move and workouts more efficiently and quickly than we did when we started. Part of this might be mental, but our bodies are certainly responding to the workouts, which we do every day in the morning.

    I love how each day it gets your blood pumping, body sweating and works each major muscle group. You can feel your body producing more energy because of it, and because of the endorphins released, you feel much better too.

    My only complaint with the program is that it gets a little repetitive after awhile, and it would be interesting to have a couple more workout types sprinkled in.

    I would highly recommend this to anyone who is interested in getting nice abs, or just getting into shape for sports. The health/nutrition guide that comes with it is very helpful too, in terms of helping you pay more attention to what, and when, you put in your body.

    My husband and I absolutely LOVE insanity. We have not felt this good in a long time. Yes it is tiring and really tests your limits, but definitely worth every minute of it. The way Shaun T pushes you is a big motivation and makes you feel like you are actually there with him during the work out!

    I have followed the schedule through 20 workouts and it is amazing. I am a runner, but I am seeing changes in my physique that are so rewarding. Sean T and the others in the video are inspiring and keep you going. I am 47 and (in only 20 workouts)I am so much stronger in every major muscle group. I cannot wait to see my results on day 60! It is everything you see on the commercials and so much more! If you do this, you WILL GET IN SHAPE!
